C14-Kicking: How To Punt
60 Min: This class will first review Agility, Throwing, as well as Catching, and then the focus will shift to learning the steps of properly Kicking and Punting. Students will practice, the Catch, the Handshake Grip, the Stab Step, the Drop, the Plant, the Contact, the Follow-Through, and the Finish.
30 Min:
Wiffle Ball Practice
C16-Throwing: 1-Step Throwing Drill
60 Min: This class first reviews Throwing Fundamentals, and then focuses on honing the ability to repeatedly perform the Perfect Pass (e.g. spiral, accuracy). Students will practice the Underneath Snap Drill, the Shotgun Snap Drill, and the 1-Step Throwing Drill in order to begin improving their in-game throwing habits.
30 Min:
Wiffle Ball Practice
C18-Catching: A Slant And A Hitch Route
60 Min: In this class, the skills needed for the Wide Receiver position will be covered. Students will begin to learn the 7 Basic Routes in a Wide Receiver Route Tree. By practicing a Slant as well as a Hitch Route, students will improve their ability to change directions and create openings for receiving a throw.
30 Min: Wiffle Ball Practice
C22-Running: 1-Step Fake Handoff
60 Min: In this class, the previous Running and Ball Receiving Fundamentals that were practiced earlier will be reinforced. Students will first review the 2-Step Handoff Drill as well as the 3-Step Handoff Drill, and then they will practice the 1-Step Fake Handoff and the Stretch Fake Handoff repeatedly.
30 Min: Wiffle Ball Practice
