Rosa Silvestre
Grade: 2nd
Our instructors, Mr. Cooper and Mr.Mota chose Rosa from the snares section because she showed great focus on Mr.Cooper's instruction and was able to pick up the lesson quickly. She showed great fortitude when they were learning their competition music and she never gave up even when it got hard.
Javier Baquedano
Grade: 4th
Our instructors, Mr. Cooper and Mr.Mota chose Javier from the Tenors section because he focused on the instructions being told and picked up the tenors beat patterns quickly and with confidence. He was able to recall all core values, as well as lessons, taught the week before. He shows his fortitude every session as he is excited about what he will learn that day.
Noah Carrion
Grade: 3rd
Our instructors, Mr. Cooper and Mr.Mota chose Noah from the cymbals section because he showed great focus and fortitude in our last practice session. When Mr. Mota gave him a new instrument and new material to play in the drumline he did not hesitate to ask questions and worked with his other teammate so he wouldn't miss a beat.
