Alannah Moore
Grade: 4th
Our instructors, Mr. Cooper and Mr.Mota chose Alannah from the snares section because she showed great focus on Mr.Cooper's instruction and was able to pick up the lesson quickly. Alannah demonstrated friendship when a member of the cymbals section needed to hear words of encouragement, by telling them to never give up.
Kristen Kellenbgeck
Grade: 2nd
Our instructors, Mr. Cooper and Mr.Mota chose Kristen from the cymbals section because she showed great fortitude and determination. She also showed great focus as Mr.Mota gave her instruction and was the first one to pick up her cymbals once they had to perform. Mr. Mota even said that she was excellent and improving on her instrument.
Jimmar Willis
Grade: 5th
Our instructors, Mr. Cooper and Mr.Mota chose Jimmar from the Tenors section because he focused on the instructions being told and picked up the tenors beat patterns quickly and with confidence. He was able to recall all core values, as well as lessons, taught the week before. He shows his fortitude every session as he is excited about what he will learn that day.
Jayden Haves
Grade: 5th
Our instructors, Mr. Cooper and Mr.Mota chose Jayden from the bass section when he demonstrated focus, fortitude, and friendship in our last practice session. Jayden has improved tremendously since our last practice session. He shows friendship by helping every student with their instrument when it comes time to perform, as well as, giving words of encouragement for the students who needed it.
